We got our first home with the help of Roshan a couple of months back. A couple of points that stands out when we look back at our buying process. Roshan was dedicated to our needs from the first hello. He asked about our requirements and recommended areas he thought would suit our needs. We didn’t like his recommendation. So he took us around his recommended areas and that won us over. Roshan helped us get clarity on what we want. He asked us to look at the properties that were sold in the last month or so and asked us to share our feedback. This process of analyzing the sold houses within our budget helped us get clarity on the type of houses that we can actually call home. When we found a house that we liked (very much) he was restrained and helped us negotiate with the sellers. He also did the inspections pre offer to reduce our risk and to make a compelling offer. We actually met Roshan at a carpet store, casually talking and I mentioned we were doing some renos to rent our place out as we were leaving soon to go backpacking for 18 months. He asked questions about where we were going and as the conversation moved along, I mentioned we tried to sell our house at one point in Clayton Heights and that it didn’t work out and we were trying to figure out what to do next. So many options we had not thought about, along with each idea were financials on how things would look for us. Throughout these conversations Roshan really kept things simple for us to understand and answered all our questions. Again, there was no pressure on us, he was just informing us of the pros and cons of each idea. We wanted to see a few of the ideas of places he had mentioned and within an hour he had viewings set up for us to see. We ended up spending about 4 hours with Roshan. After our meeting Roshan sent us notes on what we had discussed and all the options. In the end we decided to keep our house and rent it out. Roshan was very happy that we made a decision that was right for us. He recommended a property management group to us that we ended up going with and we are happy with them so far.
